I think it's funny that they are calling this thing a forum. You can bet the barn that there'll be no discussion at a convention like this.

To all the atheists out there, stop attacking America! Kay? That's not nice.

I hope you plan to attend. We'll need a thorough report on the "forum".

We should get a group to go, haha. Of course, someone I know from Green Forest will probably go, and I really do not want to do that! :D I wonder who is going to speak?

And I can give them 7 REAL reasons they are losing their kids!
1. Hypocrisy of the religious
2. The lies the religious tell to win converts.
3. It's wrong, and not that hard to see through once you're an adult and stop taking everything that grown ups tell you at face value.
4. They are the worst at conditional love.
5. Nobody likes to be judged.
6. There is no love, mercy, or humility to be found.
7. They got SMART! :D

Laura, can we get that on a t-shirt? LOL?

I am kinda planning on going, but I am having some health issues. I may have to sit this one out.

Why Me? Pain and Suffering:
If they have the real answer to that, they deserve a trip to Sweden to pick up that prize!

I think its kinda rude that you all assume all that Christians are judgmental and hypocrites. Its kinda mean that you lump all people who believe in Christ as "they" and associate negative things with them. The congregation I attend in Berryville is filled with some of the most loving, kind, warm hearted people I have ever met in my life, and I have lived a lot of places and states in this country. Not all religious groups are hypocrites and preach things opposite than they live. You are right, no one likes to be judged, yet we have laws that we have to obey and by which we are judged. We all have some standard by which we have to live and obey.

And about the Why Me?Pain and Suffering.....they main topic with this session is why not me? What makes any of us so special that we should ask why does this bad thing happen to me? Bad things happen because there is sin in the world, and because thats just the nature of things, bad things just happen. It is self centered to ask why me.
