I just watched a silly little video of a minister in N.C. talking about the Devil being the enemy and hunting for souls.
I realized that not only do I not believe in God, but I don't believe in Satan either. I know it's crazy that I just now realized it, but I don't think I've actually thought about it before.
Think about it. Fundies are often offended when I say that I don't believe in God. "God is the ultimate good!, they say. "How can you not believe in God?", they ask. Seems that it is unconcievable to some that a person could not believe in an all good God. So, I'm going to take a different approach for a while. Instead of saying, "I don't believe in God.", I'll say that I don't believe in Satan. I can use the same ol' arguments, but instead I'll use them against the existence of Satan.
I think it'll be interesting what people will say.
Tip of the hat to Mark Morrison.

Robert sounds like you have a very good idea. What are going to be some of the hah? looks on peoples faces as it's never come up before.
The hesitation while seeking a answer. Think I will try your excellent idea also.

Thanks for posting this, Robert. What a charlatan! He didn't even make any attempt to separate himself from used-car salesmen. How could anyone prefer this shite to the lucid and intriguing enthusiasm of, say, Fred Watson of the Anglo-Australian Observatory? The mind boggles!
