This week's Bible absurdity is a translation goof that sounds very funny in Modern English. I am quite aware of the context of the verse, but it still sounds halarious. Other tranlations have corrected this booboo, but the KJV preserves it in all its divinely inspired glory.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord. Philemon 1:20

Maybe a good bowel refreshment is truly inspired by God. Just make sure you're not too far away from a restroom.
