Todd Friel is Wretched

I just caught the tail end of Todd Friel's Wretched on FamilyNet while channel surfing. I only saw maybe 10 minutes of it, but that was enough to last me a whole year.

On this episode, Friel was bitching because The Girl Scouts of America is run by liberals and that they want to teach girls how to be leaders and not the footstools for men. Friel's monolouge sounds condescending, dismissive, and just plain rude. The tone of his voice just pisses me off. I can't even imagine that my funditastic parents could even mildly like this guy. Excuse me, but I have to say it. Todd Friel is a Dick.

Why would someone think that a misogynistic, egotistical dick like Friel is suitable for family television? If I had a kid that talked to people like Friel does, he/she would never see daylight for a week. I most certainly wouldn't want my kids (if I had any) emulating Todd Friel.

Hey! Maybe Friel would like it if The Girl Scouts were more like The Boy Scouts and run by Mormons.

Maybe he'd like it if the girl scouts were more like the catholic church and had a long, brutal history of physical, sexual, and emotional child abuse.

I still wonder how we got two scouting organizations that are completely different in respect to ethics.

Friel actually suggested another scouting groups for girls, but I forgot what it was. Heritage something or another. ...Oh! Here it is. American Heritage Girls.

When I was a boy, my parents opted for me to be in a christian scouting group at a local church called the Christian Service Brigade, where I was getting beat up every week until I demanded to stay home.

Robert, you should listen to Todd for more than 10 minutes, (especially considering some of the language you used in your first post). You may not like his mannerisms or the tone of his voice, but his views are biblically accurate and he doesn't just follow the popular religious "leaders " who publish "bible studies" and "preach" on TV. Personally, I like what he says!

Ken, who cares if he is "biblically accurate" when the bible itself is inaccurate?

Todd is giving Christianity a bad name.
