Shame on you, Bill!

The pro-lifers are tripping all over themselves to absolve themselves of any responsibility in the murder of Dr. Tiller. Here's the proof that at least one pro-lifer was responsible for inspiring this murder. No wonder someone killed him! If I had heard this during my funditastic days, I probably would think that this murder would be justified, too. Shame on you, Bill!

Hat tip to L. Wood and The Daily Kos.

I'm confused, are you saying that Tiller did not kill babies, or that it is wrong to say that he did?

Did I miss a part where O'Reilly called for Tiller's public execution? Or is it politically incorrect now to simply speak the truth?

And referring to an unborn baby as a fetus is the moral equivalent of referring to a black person as a nigger, it is designed to deprive them of their person hood.

PO,
"I'm confused, are you saying that Tiller did not kill babies, or that it is wrong to say that he did?"

Both.

"Did I miss a part where O'Reilly called for Tiller's public execution? Or is it politically incorrect now to simply speak the truth?"

He all but called for it, and passed on lies as fact (also called slander).

"And referring to an unborn baby as a fetus is the moral equivalent of referring to a black person as a nigger, it is designed to deprive them of their person hood."

Um, no, it's a scientifically correct nomenclature.

BTW, I'm not surprised that you would stick up for Bill O'Reilly, PO, considering that your tactics are very similar to his (i.e. name calling, dismissive attitude without actually answering objections, presenting lies and distortions as fact, etc.)

If someone has a rational argument I'd like to discuss it. Slapping GCT around with a large trout is not much of a challenge or worth my time.

Even many abortion proponents found Dr. Tiller's late term abortion practice as vile. Most of these babies were perfectly viable with today's sophisticated 'preemie' care technology. The world will not miss him. He was a vile human being that slaughtered human life for profit.

PO,
"If someone has a rational argument I'd like to discuss it."

As if it is rational to compare the words "fetus" and "nigger"?

"Slapping GCT around with a large trout is not much of a challenge or worth my time."

Considering that all you can do is spout invective...well, anyone can see that you've got nothing, and your last line of defense is to attack my person.

"Even many abortion proponents found Dr. Tiller's late term abortion practice as vile."

Evidence pls.

"The world will not miss him."

I'm sure his family and friends share your view.

"He was a vile human being that slaughtered human life for profit."

You slaughter life all the time, and if it's in the course of your job I can say it's also for profit. You might want to tighten up your argument here, and stop conflating life with human life. Oh, and I love the hateful rhetoric. Xians often say that Xianity is all about peace and love...well, PO, you're proving them wrong.

Right! I shouldn't have been on you phone book. My mom should have gotten rid of me instead of giving me the horrendous life and traumas I've had to endure because of her bitterness.

Going down the drain separated into my forming cells would have been much better. I'm sure many homeless and drug addicts sleeping under bridges of mayor cities feel the same way I do.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or tongue in cheek, but by your argument (the argument of "I am a person and I'm glad I wasn't aborted" or whatever), arguing that abortion is immoral is like arguing that it's immoral to not get pregnant at every possible opportunity. All those potential babies, lost, just because the mothers chose not to get pregnant that year!

Have you gotten pregnant every chance you could since you were capable of getting pregnant? That's not a very comfortable question, is it? I think more important I should ask "Is it appropriate for me to ask you this question?" No, it's not. That's your life, your body (there were no babies and no people during those years you weren't pregnant).

If you agree to that, then I don't see how you can take issue with people who get abortions (to the extent of the pro-life agenda of trying to deny to them the medical care they need and in extreme cases killing the people who provide that medical care).

PO,

I said nothing condemning or praising Dr. Tiller. I really don't know enough to do either.

Here's the points I wish to make:

O'reilly's rant sounds alot like hate speech and propaganda.

Tiller's "crimes" or whatever do not justify assassination. Nothing does. If you want him punished you do it by the law.

What kind of christian man shoots another christian man at church? This is a point I really want to make and nobody else has made it. Dr. Tiller was a Christian!

Oh yeah!

PO,
My stand on abortion is a matter of public record.

Anonymous,

I am serious. My mother SHOULD HAVE aborted me.

I am pro-choice all the way.

Sorry to over-excite your debating adrenaline. (I don't know how I could have confused you.)

The christian and right wing hate machine is racheting up more vile every day, nothing new for these proven winners of hate. They are responsible for the lawlessness taking place in America now.
Murder anyone you dissagree with in the name of gods..... attack like the other world terroriest, anywhere, anyplace. It is not just Pro Life now, it's open season on homosexauls, Jews, atheists, agnostics, science, Hollocaust Museums, liberals. Christian religion and gods are about love?
Where are the Pro Lifers for the born? No just quote a bronze age book written by men claiming it's from gods and go forth and commit crimes against humanity.

Robert Madewell,

I have gone through the first 12 of Demian's 24 cited prophecies, and I will go through the rest in the next day or two.

Since I felt that my analysis was too long for the comments section (even by my standards), I have written my critiques as blog entries on my blog, which you can go to from the link on my Blogger profile.

I wrote Demian an e-mail with the links, and I also wanted to let you know, since I saw that you had tried to work through the first 5 prophecies already in the comments.

I hope I am not intruding, but I thought you might find this helpful.

You're not intruding at all. I really wasn't into it and I am pretty busy.

Thanks for the info. I plan to read every bit.
